Tesla has reached a significant milestone of 250,000 vehicle deliveries in the UK, with Britons increasingly making the switch to electric vehicles.

The electric vehicle manufacturer has maintained strong growth since surpassing 200,000 deliveries less than a year ago.

With over a decade of experience in the UK market, Tesla continues to lead the automotive industry's shift toward electric mobility.

Recent data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reveals a 21 per cent year-over-year increase in UK Tesla sales for February, with further growth expected from Q1 2024 to Q1 2025.

The Tesla Model Y has also maintained its position as the world's best-selling vehicle for the second consecutive year in 2024.

Tesla could see a fresh increase in sales later this year with the Elon Musk-led brand's new Model Y.

The newly upgraded Model Y builds on this success with improvements to efficiency, connectivity and safety, whilst offering a smoother driving experience.

Orders can now be placed with deliveries expected in June, starting from £399 per month on PCP.

April 2024 saw the launch of the Model 3 Performance, followed by the Cybertruck arriving in the UK for its Odyssey Tour in May.

June brought the Powerwall 3 to British shores, offering more power in a single unit with easy expansion capabilities, while the Model 3 and Model Y Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive variants launched in October.

The Cybercab Tour visited the UK in November, with the new Model Y unveiled in January 2025.

To mark the impressive milestone, Tesla will launch an immersive pop-up experience at the Future Stores location on London's Oxford Street this April.

The interactive showcase will run from Friday, April 4, until Friday, April 11, and will see Tesla inviting the public to engage with its latest vehicles.

Visitors to the Oxford Street pop-up will have the opportunity to see the Tesla Cybertruck, which is currently available exclusively in North America.

Other attractions include the Tesla Optimus Bot, an autonomous humanoid robot, the Model 3 Performance, and the Powerwall 3 home energy storage solution.

Tesla's Supercharger electric vehicle charging network now features over 1,800 ultra-rapid charging stalls across more than 160 locations throughout Britain.
