News Jet2 reveals 3 brand-new routes as part of winter expansion across nine UK airport bases

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced a significant expansion of their Winter 25/26 programme across nine UK bases, adding 96,000 additional seats from November 2025 to March 2026.

The expansion includes three brand-new routes and increased capacity to popular destinations, as well as season extensions.



The growth spans their Winter Sun, Christmas Markets, City Breaks and Ski programmes, giving customers and travel agents greater choice and flexibility.

The airline and tour operator have revealed new Christmas Markets routes from Bristol to Gdansk and Berlin, plus an exclusive ski route from Newcastle International to Chambery.

The expansion also includes additional flights to winter sun destinations including the Canary Islands, Malta, Cyprus, Turkey, Malaga, Alicante, Madeira and the Algarve.

Malta will see an additional 8,500 seats on sale from six UK airports including Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International.

Jet2CityBreaks has also enhanced its Christmas Markets offering with extra flights from Liverpool John Lennon to Prague and Krakow, now operating over the Christmas and New Year period.

Leeds Bradford will see increased services to Prague and Paris over the festive season.




Birmingham's Porto season has been brought forward to include the February half-term.

For ski enthusiasts, alongside the new Newcastle to Chambery route, Jet2.com has added a third Saturday flight to Geneva from Leeds Bradford.

Additional Sunday services to Geneva from Newcastle International have also been introduced, providing more opportunities for winter sports holidays.

Newcastle International will benefit from the new exclusive Chambery ski route, with weekly Saturday services from December 20, 2025 to February 28, 2026.

The airport will also see extra services to Malaga, Alicante, Gran Canaria, Malta, Palma and Tenerife.

Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Liverpool John Lennon airports will all receive additional capacity across various routes.
