Military Miniatures - Battle of Bulge Video, Ardennes, WWII, Bastogne, Toy Soldier Diorama

Description

Battle of the Bulge Video, Ardennes, WWII, Bastogne, December 1944,Toy Soldiers http://militaryminiatureshq.com

Now this was fun creating a WW2 diorama for my enjoyment and maybe some of you guys too in toy soldiers, armored model builders world or some of you other guys that just love military history.

I think there's something for everyone whether you collect King & Country, Britains, Figarti, Build-A-Rama (http://youtu.be/HRIEFb0KruY)

Also, Force of Valor, etc., or you're a Tamiya or Dragon modeler. It's kind of like creating your on WW2 reenactment or "Band of Brothers" but more fun IMO.

Here's a diorama tip for snow. Use flour and liberally sprinkle it around and add crashed bay leaf as ground cover. The flour can be removed in most cases with a "can of air" to blow away the debris. This technique is not only good for Toy Soldier dioramas but works well on Modeler diorama. Again, use your "can of air" (dust cleaner for PCs) to blow away snow from your Tamiya and Dragon models to be used later for entirely different diorama.

Most of the figures (1/30 scale) are from toy soldier manufacturers (King & Country, Figarti, Honour Bound) with the armor/ vehicles coming from Figarti, King and Country and yes, Force of Valor. It works doesn't it, almost like a master modeler from 1/35 scale world created it.

All you really need is an imagination like; "it's December 1944, the place is Bastogne, near the Ardennes forest where the US Army defenses are anchored by the "101st Airborne division" with approaching German SS/ Wehrmacht panzer and troops are mounting their last big offensive of the war known to us in America as the "Battle of the Bulge".

I hope you enjoy My version of "Band of Brothers" it and there will be more soon.
