Subway has officially brought back its popular Honey Mustard Sauce after a two-year hiatus.

The "fan-favourite" condiment, as described by the fast food restaurant, is available nationwide now.

The beloved sauce, which combines "the sweetness of honey with the powerful zest of mustard", has rejoined Subway's current 10-sauce lineup.

Its comeback follows significant customer demand since its discontinuation in 2023.

Subway's Honey Mustard Sauce

The condiment was one of Subway's most popular sauces before it was scrapped, and its removal sparked outrage on social media.

One customer asked on X: "Hey Subway, why have you discontinued Honey Mustard Sauce?"

Another lamented: "I miss Subway's old Honey Mustard and Honey Oat Bread."

Just weeks ago, a fan even described the removal as "a massive tragedy."

Following Subway's announcement that the iconic Honey Mustard Sauce is back, fans have been quick to celebrate.

"Subway brought back honey mustard, bless," wrote one delighted customer on social media.

When another asked, "No way, really?" the original poster confirmed that "yes, it's fantastic".

The fast food restaurant said it has "listened to [customer] cries", with the sauce now "back with a bang".
