Sir Keir Starmer has warned “we are at a crossroads in history” at a press conference after holding a summit for world leaders.

Leaders including Justin Trudeau, Ursula von der Leyen and Emmanuel Macron flocked to London to reaffirm their support for Ukraine after Donald Trump’s extraordinary public showdown with Volodymyr Zelensky.

Speaking to reporters, Starmer announced a £1.6bn deal for Ukraine to buy missies.
