A train station in Vienna has been evacuated as an "unspecified threat" has sparked havoc in the Austrian capital.
At the moment, all trains have been halted, the national rail company OBB has revealed.
Local media have reported that the threats were sent via email while officials have not yet released details about the sender.
"A large police operation is underway at Vienna's main station.
"After an incoming threat, the station is being evacuated," police posted on X, encouraging locals to avoid one of Vienna's largest stations.
The police later confirmed that all other modes of transport had been paused - including underground, tram and bus services.
Local media outlets have reported that signs scattered around the main station read: "Please leave the building immediately! ALARM".
