A van has reportedly run over multiple people in Central London, as emergency services flock to the scene.
Officers at the scene near Somerset House have said that the incident on the Strand was a car accident, however this is yet to be officially confirmed.
Police cordoned off a section of the Strand following the incident.
Personnel from London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service are also present on the scene.
The Strand is closed from Surrey Street to Waterloo Bridge. It is understood eastbound traffic can still use the road.
Police have said that the incident is not being treated as terror-related so far, it has been reported.
