UFC President Dana White has strongly condemned fighter Bryce Mitchell's recent pro-Hitler comments, calling them "the dumbest, most ignorant" statements he has ever heard.
The controversy erupted after Mitchell defended Adolf Hitler on his newly launched podcast, claiming the Nazi leader was "a good guy" based on his own research.
White addressed the issue at a Power Slap press conference, expressing disgust at Mitchell's remarks whilst emphasising Hitler's responsibility for millions of deaths during World War II.
Mitchell made his controversial statements during a YouTube appearance for his podcast.
"I honestly think that Hitler was a good guy, based upon my own research, not my public education and indoctrination," Mitchell said.
The UFC featherweight contender continued: "Was Hitler perfect? No, but he was fighting for his people. He wanted a pure nation."
Mitchell claimed his views were based on personal research rather than conventional education.
White delivered a forceful response during the press conference, highlighting the devastating toll of World War II.
"World War II was the deadliest war in history, 15 million military deaths, 45 million civilians, and 25 million soldiers were killed in World War II," White stated.
He added: "Hitler is one of the most disgusting and evil human beings to ever walk the face of the Earth. Anyone who tries to take an opposition position is a moron."

The UFC president said they had reached out to Mitchell, stating they were "beyond disgusted" with his comments.
Despite his strong condemnation, White confirmed Mitchell would not face disciplinary action.
"That's what everybody wants to hear about, punishment. It's free speech, I don't have to love it, you don't have to love it," White said.
White was particularly critical of Mitchell's intelligence, referencing a past incident.

"He's probably one of the dumbest human beings. Let's not forget that this is a guy who took a drill through his nutsack," White remarked.
"You can't fix dumb people... How do you talk sense to a dummy? You don't," he concluded.
Mitchell, who holds a professional record of 17-2, is coming off a knockout victory over Kron Gracie.
The featherweight contender's recent success in the octagon stands in stark contrast to the controversy surrounding his inflammatory comments.
