Aldi's Hugo Spritz has generated significant buzz among shoppers, with Britons flocking to their local supermarket to snap up the tasty tipple.
The "ready-to-drink" 75cl Belletti Hugo Spritz is priced at £4.49 and promises a "refreshing taste at unbeatable value".
As the sun emerged this weekend, TikTok exploded with videos showcasing the Hugo Spritz, with many users suggesting adding ice and mint for the perfect summer refreshment.
TikTok creator Olivia (who goes by @oliviamulhearn on the sharing platform) told viewers to "run" to Aldi.
Her video has amassed 362,000 views so far and promoted many enthusiastic responses.
In response to her video, one Hugo Spritz fan stated they "will be needing [it] immediately".
A second cocktail connoisseur said it "looks unreal", while a third gave it the ultimate praise: "Heaven."
Another shopper commented: "I was absolutely thrilled when I saw this. Love a Hugo Spritz. It should be much more popular than it is for sure. It's the best."
Another TikTok user, @bexblah, posted a video of her Aldi find, claiming the supermarket was "slaying the game" with its new drink.
In a video entitled 'I can't believe I found this in Aldi', she taste-tested the Hugo Spritz after adding mint.
"People talk about Aperol Spritz, but Hugo is really where it's at," she said before trying a sip and exclaiming: "Oh my God no way, it's good."
But Hugo Spritz isn't the only affordable option in Aldi's growing cocktail range.
The supermarket has launched the New Belletti Limoncello Spritz, priced at £4.49 for a 75cl bottle.
Shoppers can also pick up the "returning favourite", Aperini Aperitivo Spritz, also at £4.49 for 75cl.
