A Conservative Councillor has demanded a change in legislation to enable political representatives to be sacked immediately if they are convicted or plead guilty to a crime.

The demands follow the scandal surrounding ex-senior aide to Wes Streeting - Sam Gould - who pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent exposure involving a 13-year-old girl and a 25-year-old woman.
