Sadiq Khan's knighthood has been branded a "reward of failure" after the London Mayor led the list of figures on the New Year's Honours List
Speaking to GB News, commentator Chloe Dobbs expressed disbelief at Khan's award, claiming he has "ruined this capital city that was once great".
Khan was given the gong following his record third term as London Mayor.
In a statement, the Mayor said he was "truly humbled" to receive the honour.
He added: "I couldn't have dreamed when growing up on a council estate in south London that I would one day be Mayor of London.
"I will continue to build the fairer, safer, greener and more prosperous London that all of the capital's communities deserve."
Expressing her outrage at the decision, Dobbs told GB News: "I don't think he deserves it, I do think that it is rewarding failure.
"He has ruined this capital city that was once great. It's now a really unsafe place."
Dobbs highlighted concerning statistics during Khan's leadership, and how Britons are facing a "50 per cent increase" in knife crime.
She explained: "You can't go anywhere without getting your phone snatched, and it would seem knife crime is up 50 per cent and he doesn't seem to care when he's questioned on it.
"He just doesn't seem to care. He's interested in his little woke bubble, where he talks about diversity."
Highlighting his recent dispute with US President-elect Donald Trump, Dobbs claimed that Khan's suggestion that Trump's criticisms were racially motivated are "childish and pathetic".
She stated: "Any time that someone criticizes him, he says it's because you're a racist or you're Islamophobic.
"Trump, for example, he criticised how Khan has ruined London and made it a place that's riddled with crime. And he responded on on a podcast saying Trump made those comments about me because of the color of skin in my face. It is childish and it's pathetic."
Concluding her argument, Dobbs told GB News that the Mayor's controversial Ulez scheme has "really upset Londoners".
She said: "The Ulez scheme - even when the evidence was becoming clearer and clearer that the expansion of it was going to do very, very little to change air quality yet be a huge tax on the poor, he refused to change tune and it's really, really upset Londoners.
"So people really think that this is not a well deserved honour."
