Reform UK member Zia Yusuf has launched a blistering attack on the Conservative Party, branding them "socialist double agents" during the ARC (Alliance for Responsible Citizenship) Conference.

Speaking to GB News, Yusuf declared that Reform is offering "a truly viable, deeply patriotic alternative" to the British people.

His comments came in response to Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch dismissing Reform.

"That is why Reform is leading in the polls. There's a lot of work to do but I've never been more confident that we're heading for a majority Reform government with Nigel Farage as our prime minister," Yusuf said.

Recent polling appears to support his claims about Reform's momentum, with the party now several percentage points ahead of the Conservatives and boasting more than 200,000 members.

Yusuf painted a vivid picture of Reform UK's growing grassroots enthusiasm, describing their events as extraordinarily optimistic gatherings.

Nigel Farage in Washington DC

"When Nigel Farage comes out on stage, it's like a rock concert. People are filled with enthusiasm and optimism," he told GB News.

He emphasised that Reform supporters and members are "clear-eyed about the challenges this country faces."

The party's rising influence comes as Conservative Campaign Headquarters announced another round of job cuts after a funding collapse.

Despite Reform's momentum, Badenoch has dismissed calls for an election pact between the two parties as "for the birds."

Nigel has also ruled out any merger, speaking repeatedly of his wish to "destroy" the Conservatives following what he views as a betrayal after the 2019 general election.

Recent polling data shows Badenoch's approval rating at -19, placing her 22 points above Keir Starmer but below Nigel Farage.

The Conservative leader remains relatively unknown, with only 66 per cent of Britons able to identify her.

Former Boris Johnson adviser Dominic Cummings has urged Donald Trump to help facilitate a merger between the Conservatives and Reform UK.

Sir Edward Leigh, the Tory MP and Father of the House, suggested there was a 70 per cent chance of such a merger before the next general election.

However, both party leaders have firmly rejected these proposals, with Badenoch warning that many Conservative voters would "go elsewhere" if the party merged with Nigel's outfit.

Reform's leader has maintained his stance against any cooperation, citing his disappointment with Boris Johnson's Brexit deal and subsequent migration levels.
