Today was another day of shame for Sir Keir Starmer, yet again he appeared to call people who have concerns about Pakistani rape gangs 'far-right' racists.
He is way out of touch. Caring about young girls being raped on an industrial scale by foreign men from a community that the Labour Party courted for decades, does not make you far-right.
To say that everyone who cares about this issue is a Tommy Robinson supporter is the language of attempted demonisation and it does not work anymore.
Why? Because Tommy Robinson has a problematic past, but millions of people are willing to look at this issue right now and say 'you know what he was right about the problem of grooming gangs'.
It was on Starmer's watch as director of Public Prosecutions that charges were dropped against nine men of mainly Pakistani backgrounds for the rape of a young teenager in Rochdale. She reportedly gave her underwear containing the DNA of one of her attackers to police, and charges were dropped because they decided that she would not be seen as a reliable witness by a jury.
Starmer was not personally involved in the decision to drop those charges, but he was DPP then. Several years later, those men were found guilty. They'd been plying girls as young as 13 with drink and drugs and raping them. Now he's ruling out a national inquiry specifically into Pakistani rape gangs.
Is it to try to cover for his own failures, do you think?
I don't think that's good enough. I don't think his record is good enough. And now Starmer is accusing Elon Musk of crossing a line when it comes to Jess Phillips, who is also refusing to have this inquiry.
Nobody should ever wish any harm to Jess Phillips or anyone else. But I think it's fair to say that she hasn't exactly covered herself in glory over the years.
Yvette Cooper also piped up saying that we can't let ethnicity stop us from investigating child abuse, but unfortunately for Yvette, it has done. An inquest found fears of being called Islamophobic meant the police didn't do their jobs.
And if Labour thinks they're trying to kid anyone about taking this issue seriously, then maybe we should just listen to how their MPs heckled shadow home secretary Chris Philp when he said that it's not far right to care about grooming gangs.
I am convinced that what the Prime Minister has said today, along with what he said during the disorder in the summer, was intended to try to scare people into silence by calling everyone racists.
But like I said, the window shifted. It doesn't work anymore. Cooper's announced some window dressing today, so there's going to be this new survivors and victims panel.
It remains to be seen what that really looks like. It's going to be illegal not to report child abuse. All right. Just have an inquiry specifically into Pakistani grooming gangs. Just do it.
About 50 towns across Britain have suffered tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of young girls have suffered. Just do it. Stop covering it up.
If you're afraid that the scale of the problem would cause civil unrest, then the solution to that is to deal with the problem and not try to hide it from us.
It's on this note that I would like to make Elon Musk an offer that I hope he will not refuse. Mr. Musk, you've been very vocal recently. You've said that Starmer and others are complicit in these crimes and that this is a cover-up.
You seem to genuinely care deeply about young girls who've been, and in my view by the way, continue to be, raped on an industrial scale by Pakistani gangs.
So why don't you and I sit down together and have a conversation about it? We'll put it out on whatever platform you like. We'll do it absolutely live. So there's no editing. Nothing will be off-limits.
We should even use our discussion to raise money for the Maggie Oliver Foundation, a charity founded in the wake of the Rochdale grooming gang scandal that helps survivors in any way they can.
I think we would raise a lot of money together, Mr. Musk. A lot of money. I will travel to wherever in the world you are.
