Police removed two disruptive passengers who "threatened" staff from an easyJet flight after it landed in Geneva on Sunday evening.
Six officers boarded flight EZY2684 from Birmingham Airport following its arrival in the Swiss city at around 7pm.
The incident occurred after the plane had completed its one hour and 45-minute journey from Birmingham, where it had departed at approximately 5.15pm.
Passengers were ordered to remain in their seats as police dealt with the situation.
According to a witness who spoke to BirminghamLive, the incident began before the flight when a group was seen playing drinking games at a pub in the airport terminal.
The anonymous traveller reported that the group was "being rude to bar staff" and becoming increasingly disruptive before boarding.
The passenger, who was travelling to Geneva for a snowboarding holiday, observed the disruptive behaviour continuing during the flight, though he was seated away from the group.
Upon landing in Geneva, passengers were instructed to remain seated and keep their seatbelts fastened.

"Six police came on the plane went to the back and removed two of the guys from the plane. Four of the group were definitely still on it," the witness said.
"There were quite a few disgruntled passengers at the delay getting off," the traveller added. "It was mostly skiers on the flight trying to make connections. You don't expect that I have never seen anything like it."
An easyJet spokesman said their cabin crew "acted quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers was not compromised at any time".
The airline stated they do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard, though such incidents are rare.
The spokesman added that passengers were required to remain onboard during the police intervention "in line with security procedures" and thanked them for their patience and understanding.
A Birmingham Airport spokesman said they received no reports regarding these passengers or the flight.
However, they added that customers can be "reassured that the airport works closely with all third parties including the police, airlines and food and beverage retailers to minimise any issues of potential passenger disruptive behaviour".
