A Hampshire man is celebrating a life-changing lottery win which will see him receive £10,000 every month for the next 30 years.

The winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous and is known only as Mr B, matched all five numbers and the life ball in the National Lottery's Set For Life draw on Monday, February 10.

The fortunate winner is now making exciting plans for his windfall.

His victory in the popular twice-weekly draw secures him the top prize, amounting to a total of £3.6 million over the three-decade period.

Mr B has already planned how to spend some of his newfound wealth, with a second honeymoon topping his priority list.

He intends to jet off in first class to the Seychelles with his spouse, enjoying the luxury that his winnings now afford.

And he has not forgotten his family in his plans either.

Mr B is also organising a family trip to Center Parcs, ensuring his loved ones can share in his good fortune.

The winner selected five random personal numbers for his winning draw - and is now set for a six-figure tax-free salary.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at National Lottery winners Allwyn, expressed his delight at the result.

"Wow, this is incredible news for Mr B, who has won £10k every month for thirty years!" he said. His second honeymoon is certainly going to feature a few upgrades now! Huge congratulations!"

The Set For Life game requires players to pick five main numbers from 1 to 47, and one life ball from 1 to 10.

The top prize, won by Mr B, delivers £10,000 monthly for 30 years, while the second-place prize offers £10,000 monthly for one year. Players can also receive £5 just for matching two numbers.

Tickets cost £1.50 per line - while draws take place twice weekly, every Monday and Thursday.

And it's not just Mr B who has turned his fortunes around through a lucky windfall. A 25-year-old former landscaper-turned ski instructor James Evans swapped paving slabs for powder slopes after winning the Set For Life draw.

"Being a ski instructor was always my plan later in life, but when I won Set For Life I thought: 'Why not right now?'" he said.

Meanwhile, another Set For Life scooper claims he too is in for a huge windfall - but still lives at home, and has not told his parents.
