Walkers and Heinz are set to launch a new ketchup-flavoured crisp in a collaboration that has generated major excitement.
In a joint social media post, the food giants announced the partnership, sharing a picture of a crisp slathered with ketchup. This was accompanied by a simple message: "You know it makes sense."
The shared Instagram post amassed more than 30,000 likes in one day, and crisp enthusiasts across the UK have expressed their need to get their hands on the snack as soon as possible.
"Ketchup is genuinely my favourite flavour crisp," wrote one excited fan. Another commented: "Is this legit? My dreams have come true."

Britons were full of adoration for the popular pairing. "Ketchup flavour is the greatest," exclaimed one fan.
"Love me some ketchup Walkers. Easily the best flavour," said another, offering the ultimate praise.
Other enthusiastic responses included "OMG", "Finally" and "Elite!", from those who can't wait to get their hands on the savoury snack.
The highly anticipated product will hit shelves in just two days, on March 17, 2025.
The new crisp flavour joins Walkers' existing lineup, which includes a similar Saucy Tomato Ketchup.
Now this isn't the first Walkers and Heinz collaboration that has hit UK supermarkets.
Three limited-edition flavours were launched last year: Walkers Cheese Toastie with Heinz Beans, Walkers Roast Chicken with Heinz Seriously Good Mayonnaise and Walkers Sausage Sarnie with Heinz Tomato Ketchup.
The "sarnie-inspired flavours", as described by the crisps manufacturer, garnered a lot of attention on social media but reviews were mixed.
Indeed, while one enthusiastic shopper said, "Ooh, I am very, very excited about these," a less-than-impressed social media user claimed they "all look grim".
Ahead of Halloween last year, the food giants also joined forces to create a spooky sensation.
