Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths has warned that "everything is riding" on Meghan Markle's new Netflix show regarding the Sussexes' contract renewal.

Speaking on GB News, Griffiths highlighted the significance of the programme's success as the couple's Netflix deal is set to expire in April.

The Duchess of Sussex's new series "With Love, Meghan" premieres tomorrow after months of anticipation.

Griffiths questioned whether Netflix was getting value for money from the Sussexes' partnership.

"Their first series, which was them trashing the Royal Family, was very well watched. Everything else has been dross, as far as I can tell," she stated on GB News.

The royal commentator expressed doubts about the streaming giant's investment in the couple's projects since their initial documentary.

Griffiths referenced Meghan's recent People Magazine interview where the Duchess discussed her marriage.

"In the People Magazine interview, she alluded to this show helping her marriage because they are now in a honeymoon period," Griffiths noted.

She added that Meghan claimed the show "has reminded him of who she really is."

The Duchess told People that the project reconnected Prince Harry with aspects of her personality from when they first met.

The new Netflix series will consist of eight episodes focusing on lifestyle content and entertaining.

According to Netflix, the show "will blend practical tips with candid conversations."

"Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected," the streaming platform said.

The series will feature appearances from friends including Mindy Kaling and former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer.

Prince Harry will make only a brief appearance in the series, deliberately taking a step back to support his wife.

A crew member told People magazine: "Whenever Harry visited set, he was always super polite and friendly. It was clear he wanted this to be Meghan's moment to shine."

The Duke appears briefly in the show's teaser trailer embracing Meghan.

He reportedly brought their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to visit the set.
