King Charles and President Zelensky have shared a warm greeting just days after the Ukrainian President's brutal showdown with Donald Trump.
The King met Zelensky during an official audience on Sunday at his Norfolk home, Sandringham.
Following his experience in the White House with Donald Trump and JD Vance on Friday, the UK and EU have shown their "unwavering" solidarity with the Ukrainian president.
In an effort to put up a united front amid the Russo-Ukrainian War, Keir Starmer will host the chiefs of state from Europe, Canada, and Turkey for a special defence summit.
On Saturday, just 24 hours after Trump and his Vice-President had a brutal showdown with Zelensky in the Oval Office, the Ukrainian President arrived in Downing Street for a meeting with Starmer.
Zelensky expressed his happiness that the King had consented to the meeting on Sunday.
During their meeting earlier this week in the Oval Office, Trump accused Zelensky of "gambling with World War Three."
He also told the Ukrainian leader that he "isn't in a good position right now."
The spat was triggered after Zelensky told Vance that the US "does not feel" the consequences of Russia's invasion due to their "nice ocean", but added the nation will "feel it in the future."
Infuriated by the remark, Trump warned Zelensky not to "dictate what we are going to feel", declaring that Ukraine "does not have the cards right now."
Trump shut down Zelensky, fuming: "We're going to feel very good, and we have very strong influence.
"You're right now not in a very good position; you've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position.
