Prime Minister Keir Starmer has doubled down on his willingness to put "boots on the ground" in Ukraine as part of a comprehensive four-point plan to support the war-torn nation.
Speaking at a press conference, the Prime Minister emphasised that "Europe must do the heavy lifting" in supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Starmer said: "Let me be clear, we agree with Trump on the urgent need for a durable peace. Now we need to deliver together."
The Prime Minister's comments come as he outlined a strategy aimed at securing a "just and enduring peace" for Ukraine.
The PM outlined four key agreements reached at the summit.
Firstly, to maintain military aid to Ukraine while increasing economic pressure on Russia.

Secondly, any peace deal must ensure Ukraine's sovereignty and security, with Ukraine present at negotiations.
Thirdly, European leaders will work to deter any future Russian invasion following a peace agreement.
Finally, there would be a "coalition of the willing" to defend Ukraine and guarantee peace in the country.
These measures aim to strengthen Ukraine's position while working toward a sustainable resolution to the conflict.
The plan reflects Starmer's commitment to taking a leading role in European security matters.
In a significant boost to Ukraine's defence capabilities, Starmer announced £1.6bn in UK export finance for air defence missiles.
These weapons will be manufactured in Belfast, creating jobs in Britain's defence sector.
"This will allow Ukraine to negotiate from a position of strength," the Prime Minister stated.
The financing will enable Ukraine to purchase more than five thousand air defence missiles.
This dual-purpose initiative strengthens Ukraine's military position while supporting UK manufacturing.
The Belfast production line represents a tangible commitment to both Ukraine's security and domestic employment.
It forms part of Starmer's broader strategy to maintain pressure on Russia while working toward peace.
Starmer warned that the world stands at a "crossroads in history" regarding the Ukraine conflict.
The Prime Minister emphasised the urgency of the situation, calling for decisive action rather than further discussion.
"This is not a moment for more talk – it's time to act and unite around a new plan for a just and enduring peace," he declared.
His comments underscore the gravity with which the UK government views the ongoing war.
The four-point plan represents a concrete strategy at a critical juncture in the conflict.
Starmer's approach combines military support with diplomatic initiatives aimed at securing Ukraine's long-term security and sovereignty.
