An American DJ has alleged Jake Paul told him he was banned from seriously hurting Mike Tyson - and vice versa - in their boxing fight over the weekend.

The two men fought at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with Paul winning via unanimous decision.

Many boxing fans were, however, left unhappy with how the showdown panned out.

Tyson looked a shadow of the fighter he once was, while Paul refrained from inflicting harm on his childhood hero as well.

Now, DJ Whoo Kid has alleged that Paul told him that both men were 'legally' not allowed to seriously hurt each other.

Instead, they both had to 'chill'. There is, however, nothing to substantiate the claims.

"Jake Paul came and I talked to him," he said, per The Art of Dialogue.

"There's the problem, this is what happens. Legally, they each cannot go at each other hard.

"Because if Mike hit Jake Paul - and I mean really hit him - then Jake Paul will die. Like he's gonna' die, he's gonna' be dead, if he [Tyson] went all in.

"That's why you saw lots of like [shimmying]. If Jake Paul had hit Mike Tyson, I think because of Mike Tyson's age, he would kill Mike Tyson.

"So the rules were that they gotta' chill. That's what I heard, that's what I heard, they both gotta' chill."

Both Tyson and Paul have always insisted, however, that their fight was a legitimate one.

Knockouts were on the table, with two-minute rounds introduced to give Tyson the best possible chance of reigning supreme.

Unfortunately for the 58-year-old, however, he was unable to summon the magic of old.

Many were unhappy with how Tyson performed during the clash in Texas.

And Terrence Crawford brutally said the veteran 'looked like trash' as he crashed to the seventh defeat of his professional career.

"I love Mike Tyson, but they giving him too much credit," he wrote on X.

"He looked like trash, to train that long and only throw 97 punches the whole fight is crazy.

"I’m just glad he didn’t get hurt out there."

Tyson, speaking in the aftermath of the bout, said he was 'happy' with what he can still do in the ring at his age.
