Marks & Spencer has kicked off 2025 with the launch of a new health-focused snack in its Foodhalls, targeting shoppers looking to support their brain health.
The Brain Food Brain Ball combines mixed berries and almond butter in an on-the-go format designed to boost cognitive function.
The new product forms part of M&S's commitment to providing nutritious snacking options that meet their Eat Well criteria.
The new snack boasts significant nutritional credentials, containing high levels of iron, zinc and vitamin B12.
Each Brain Food Brain Ball provides at least 30 per cent of the Reference Nutrient Intake (RNI) for these essential brain-health nutrients.
The iron and zinc content specifically contributes to normal cognitive function, according to M&S.
The Brain Food Brain Ball is now available across M&S Foodhalls nationwide and can also be purchased through Ocado.
The supermarket shared on Instagram that the snack is "best enjoyed as part of a healthy lifestyle & a balanced varied diet".
It was also emphasised that it's "high in iron and zinc which contribute to normal cognitive function".
M&S says that the snack meets their Eat Well standards, combining health benefits with taste.
Customers can find the Brain Food Brain Ball in the snacking sections of their local M&S Foodhall or through Ocado's online platform.
The response from customers has been positive so far, with several racing to the comments to confirm: "They’re so good".
