Thousands of anti-Trump protesters have descended upon Trafalgar Square in London, as demonstrations take place across the world.
The demonstrations come after Trump unveiled sweeping global tariffs which sent financial markets reeling amid growing fears of a worldwide trade war.
The US President has imposed 10 per cent tariffs on the UK, alongside a worldwide 25 per cent tariff on all foreign-made cars.
The various protests, branded as “Hands Off”, have been organised by Democrats Abroad, the official organisation of the Democratic Party for US citizens living overseas.
The movement has been organised by more than 150 groups, including civil rights groups and trade unions.
Protests have been taking place across the world, with demonstrators taking to the streets in the US, Paris and Berlin.
In London, the protest kicked off at 3pm and demonstrators have been pictured wielding signs that read “dump Trump, resist fascism”.
Other signs read "Proud American Ashamed" and "WTAF America?".

The crowd chanted "Hands off Canada", "Hands off Greenland" and "Hands off Ukraine" while listening to speeches criticising Trump.
Among the protesters was Clarke Reinstein, 73, from Rhode Island, who said “disappointed in my fellow Americans” in electing Trump as president.
“I’ve been in London for two months and I like being over here because people think a little differently,” he said
“They made a mistake over Brexit – but they didn’t fall over like the Americans have.”
Many of the protesters in the British capital are American expats.
Brent Robertson, 56, from Albuquerque, criticised Trump’s tariffs, which he announced on Wednesday as part of his "Liberation Day" speech.
Robertson said: “Stupid is not the word.
“He is shooting himself and all of us as Americans, just so he can make himself look like a tough guy.”
