A massive £149million EuroMillions jackpot was up for grabs in Tuesday night's draw after the prize pot rolled over for the fourth time.

The enormous sum remained unclaimed after no one managed to scoop the main prize in Friday's draw.

Players had the chance to become an instant multi-millionaire by matching all seven numbers in the popular lottery game.

The jackpot, while substantial, still falls short of previous record-breaking wins.

Tickets needed to be purchased before 7.30pm for a chance at the life-changing sum.

The draw took place at 8.30pm with eager players across the UK checking their numbers.

The winning numbers for Tuesday night's EuroMillions draw were 04, 09, 35, 46, 50. The Lucky Stars were 08, 11.

One UK player became a millionaire overnight through the Millionaire Maker Selection with the code HHFG17793.

The estimated jackpot stood at a staggering £149m.

Players who matched five numbers and one lucky star stood to win £130,000. Those matching five numbers could claim £13,500.

Even matching just two numbers would earn players £2.50.

The draw offered multiple chances to win substantial prizes beyond the headline jackpot.

The Thunderball results were also announced on Tuesday night. The winning numbers were 20, 26, 27, 33, 36.

Even without claiming the main jackpot, significant sums were available for partial matches.

While Tuesday's jackpot was enormous, it wasn't the largest in EuroMillions history.

The record for the biggest ever EuroMillions prize was set in December 2023. One fortunate winner claimed an astonishing £206m in that draw.

British lottery players have previously enjoyed remarkable success in the game. In July 2022, a single UK ticket holder matched all the numbers to win £195m.
