The Duchess of Edinburgh rubbed shoulders with Nigel Farage at Buckingham Palace today during a reception.
Sophie joined her husband, Prince Edward, as well as King Charles and Queen Camilla at a reception for newly elected MPs and members of the House of Lords.
The Duchess, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday, was photographed having a conversation with the leader of Reform, Nigel Farage, and the Deputy Leader, Richard Tice.
For the occasion, Sophie looked beautiful in a £750 cream dress from Beulah London.
She paired this dress with Prada suede heels, which the Duchess has owned since 2018.
To accessorise, Sophie wore Giulia Barela small hoop earrings, which retail for £146.
In an endearing moment, the mother-of-two posed with the Lib Dem MP Steve Darling's guide dog Jennie.
She was also seen chatting to Helena Dollimore and Alice Macdonald.
Prince Edward's wife was additionally photographed having a lighthearted chat with Tessa Munt, as well as Lee Pitcher.
King Charles and Queen Camilla posed with the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, and the Leader of the Opposition, Kemi Badenoch in an iconic portrait.
The reception at Buckingham Palace coincided with the announcement that the King's niece, Princess Beatrice, gave birth to her second child last week.
Athena Elizabeth Rose was born on January 22, 2025, and her father, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, shared the first image of the royal baby on Instagram today.
