A driver has been left aghast after they found a massive dent on their car bonnet after their neighbour's cat fell from a 14th-storey balcony.
Accompanying the car with a cat-shaped dent, the vehicle's owner came across a note which was pinned to the windshield - taking to social media to share images of the horrific incident.
The note issued an extensive apology, explanation and personal details to contact their neighbour.
The brief note read: “I am very sorry about your hood.
“My cat fell off my 14th floor balcony and landed on your hood.
“Please call at [redacted].
“Again, I am so sorry.”
In response to the bizarre event, people were left stunned.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
One commenter said: “Good on them to let you know what happened and offer their contact information.
“I’m sure they were devastated but still thought about you and your property also.”
Another exclaimed: “That sucks all around! Poor kitty!”
A third commenter wrote: “Dude... Look at the dent. It spent all 9 on this one.”
He explained that the owners of the tragically deceased cat were “very nice folks” and insurers were dealing with any damage done to the vehicle.
He said: “They have the real loss. I felt so bad for them.”
