TriOn Pharma has issued a recall for two of its vitamin D3 food supplement products due to excessive vitamin D3 content.
Consumers who have purchased these supplements are advised not to consume them.
The company is requesting customers return the products to their place of purchase, where they will receive a full refund.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: "High levels of vitamin D3 have been found in the products listed above.
"Excessive intakes of vitamin D can cause various adverse health effects because of hypercalcaemia (high blood calcium level).
"Symptoms and signs may include anorexia, nausea, vomiting, weakness, lethargy, constipation and non-specific aches and pains, as well as thirst, polyuria, weight loss and cardiac dysrhythmias."
The Food Standards Agency issues product withdrawal information notices and product recall information notices to alert consumers about food safety issues.
