A Scottish tourist who disappeared in Italy for a week has been found in a Naples hospital with broken bones.
Robert Cadger, known as Bob, was located yesterday after his family spent seven days desperately searching for him.
The 47-year-old Aberdeen FC fan had been on holiday when he suffered an accident.
He will need to remain hospitalised in Italy for at least two weeks before he can return to Scotland.
Cadger's family confirmed that the 47-year-old has "broken bones" following the accident and is currently in the orthopaedic ward.
Before being found yesterday, Cadger was last seen on March 10 after watching Napoli v Fiorentina with friends.
He continued to Pompeii the following day with one friend but became separated after arranging to meet at the entrance.
The group expected to reunite in Naples' Spanish Quarter, but Bob never appeared, missing his scheduled flight back to Scotland the next day.

His family grew increasingly concerned as his phone had been off since March 11, and he had lost his suitcase and bank card.
Bob's family subsequently launched a fundraiser to help with costs associated with his recovery.
A post on the GoFundMe page explained: "We are raising funds to support Bob, to help with any medical costs, flights, accommodation, and for family to attend the hospital to support his recovery."
The appeal has already raised £3,160 within hours of being set up.
The funds will help cover medical expenses and help get Bob back home to Scotland.
Bob's brother Euan expressed relief when sharing the news that his sibling had been found.
"We've found Bob!!! He's been located at a hospital in Naples," he told the Record, "From myself and all our family, I cannot thank you all enough for the shares, messages, contacts provided and all other help!"
He added: "The showing of love and care from everyone has been tremendous!! Thank you!"
