The founder of DOGE UK has exposed the many "staggering" projects funded by the British taxpayer, as Elon Musk's war on "woke waste" continues.

The X owner and Tesla founder has claimed that he has saved the incoming Donald Trump administration saved more than $1billion by canceling diversity, equity and inclusion contracts and other expenses.

Musk's role as The White House's Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, was created by the US President - and in a post on X, Musk told Americans he is "trying to stop your tax dollars from being stolen for waste and fraud".

Speaking on GB News, the creator of DOGE UK Charlotte Gill revealed her work began on exposing the UK's "woke waste" back in 2023, and claimed what she has uncovered is "astronomically bad".

Gill explained: "It really is astronomically bad. I started researching what I call woke waste, how the taxpayer is funding their own demise, in 2023, and it all started when I found that we'd spent £600,000 investigating pregnant men.

"This really is the tip of the iceberg, it's a galaxy of waste. All the while, voters have been fed this narrative of austerity, and I don't see any of that."

Citing one of the many "woke" projects funded by the British taxpayer, Gill revealed that £841,000 was awarded to a research project titled "The Europe that Gay Porn Built, 1945 - 2000".

The study's synopsis says the paper "will map for the first time the European networks of production, circulation and consumption of gay erotica and porn magazines published between the end of WWII and the turn of the 21st century, and build on them to develop a cultural study of 'Europe' as imagined by gay men".

Reacting to the project, Gill told GB News: "Apparently we really need to know about the Europe that gay porn built from 1945 to 2000.

"This chap, he's Portuguese and he's living in Sweden studying gay porn, and we're paying for it. I'm not joking, this is not unusual."

Reacting to Gill's revelations, host Tom Harwood fumed: "If this bloke wants to investigate gay porn, knock your socks off, it's a free society, have a wonderful time. But don't make me pay for it. How has almost £1million gone on this? I just don't understand, frankly, how this is actually costing us money."

Gill responded: "In total he's actually had over £1million in taxpayer grants because this isn't his first taxpayer funded study. And his other study before that was on gay, pig-like animal masculinities.

"And I don't know what that is, but we couldn't even read the abstract on-air, it would be X-rated. And we paid for this."

Concluding her thoughts on the funding of such projects, Gill claimed that there is a "quango-ification in avoiding accountability" by the Government.

She said: "The university system is just emblematic of what's going on in local government, policing, NHS, this quango-ification, whatever you want to call it. It's a way of avoiding accountability.

"We're just giving all this money to faceless bureaucrats and it's a left wing patronage system of funding stuff that I feel like your viewers would have to drink shots to get over, if they knew the whole of what we're funding. It's staggering."
