Aldi's popular Peri-Peri chicken range is making a highly anticipated return to stores, aiming to offer shoppers a chance to enjoy restaurant-quality chicken at home for a fraction of the price.

The supermarket announced the comeback after an incredibly successful launch last year, which saw almost 1.5 million items fly off shelves in just two weeks.

The range includes 15 different products inspired by the famous Peri-Peri chicken taste that Britons know and love.

It includes starters such as Olives for £1.69 and Houmous with Peri Drizzle for just 99p.

Aldi's Nando's inspired range

For mains, customers can choose from Roosters Half Chicken in Lemon and Herb or Medium Peri-Peri flavours for £3.99, Thigh Fillets at £3.29, or the popular Wing Roulette for £4.99.

Chicken Breast Sizzlers are available in three heat levels for £3.69, while vegetarians can enjoy the Veggie Beanie Burger for £1.99.

The selection of sides features Spicy Rice and Mighty Peas for £1.99, Corn on the Cob for £1.99, and Peri-Peri Seasoned Fries for £1.49.

All products will be available while stocks last, as with all Aldi Specialbuys, "once they're gone, they're gone".

Social media users went wild for the range last year, with food account Newfoodsuk sharing the products to enthusiastic followers.

One commenter remarked: "It tastes exactly like Nando's," with another stating: "The wing roulette is so good."

Shoppers looking to recreate a Nando's-style meal at home can pick up the Roosters Half Chicken in Lemon and Herb (£3.99), Roosters Peri-Peri Seasoned Fries (£1.49) and Rainbow Slaw (79p) for just £6.27.

The supermarket also stocks four Nando's-inspired sauces year-round, including Bramwells Peri-Peri Hot Sauce & Marinade for £1.25. These come in hot, medium, lemon & herb, and garlic flavours.

The major supermarket has also launched a boozy Easter treat for chocolate and cocktail lovers alike.
