GB News star Stephen Dixon has taken aim at Prince Harry amid reports he is to be offered the chance to work on a new Princess Diana documentary.
The series would air in 2027 to mark the 30th anniversary of his mother’s death, according to a senior Hollywood source.
Stephen said on the People’s Channel that while Harry has every right to feel traumatised by his mother’s death, “sitting with a psychiatrist in front of a television camera is not the way to handle it”.
He said: “It’s damaging. Even by the very nature that he can do this and Prince William cannot.”
Anne Diamond added: “That’s what I was going to say. How is Prince William going to feel about this?
“They clearly don’t get on and they have fallen out about a lot of things. He’s now going to justify his Netflix contract by exploiting the memory of his mother.”

Stephen continued: “I think he needs to shut up, quite frankly. You’re not helping anyone Harry.”
Broadcaster Alex Dyke defended the duke, saying his words could be impactful on the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death.
“This one is interesting. They haven’t been box office for Netflix but apparently Harry has been offered a contract for a documentary that will follow Diana’s death”, he said.
“I think at the root of all of Harry’s problems is the delayed shock and trauma of losing his mother.
“I think if he sits with a psychiatrist, I’m not suggesting he will, but it would be very revealing.
“I know he annoys people, but if you went through what that poor boy did in 1997…”
Stephen pointed out that Harry’s older brother, Prince William, went through the same trauma but has not been at the centre a family fallout.
“Yes, but people are different”, Dyke argued. “What might affect you might affect me in a different way.”
The Los Angeles source said it would be a solo project for Harry, who would also take on a co-executive producer role while hosting and narrating the series.
Harry and Meghan Markle look well-placed to secure another Netflix contract despite past productions garnering mixed reactions.
